About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Officer for Vasai location. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing EHS policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety across the floor and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs in line with statutory requirements and company standards.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across manufacturing areas and identify corrective actions.
3. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and track closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
4. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
5. Organize and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for floor employees and contractors.
6. Maintain all EHS documentation including permits, licenses, legal registers, and MIS reports.
7. Support and participate in mock drills, emergency preparedness, and disaster management exercises.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) from a recognized institution.
3. 3–6 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
4. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with EHS management software is an advantage.
