REMI Elektrotechnik Limited has built a strong reputation for engineering reliability, product performance and customer-focused service — manufacturing single-phase, three-phase, flame-proof, dual-speed, VFD-compatible, brake, and custom-built motors alongside gear boxes and helical geared motors.
REMI’s motor technology was originally developed under license from VEM, Germany and later enhanced by an experienced in-house design team. In the mid-1980s, REMI further strengthened its geared motor range with technical support from Stephan Werke GmbH & Co., Germany.

Flame Proof Motors (IE2 / IE3)
The Flame proof motor is designed for operation in hazardous environments where flammable gases, vapors or dust may be present. It is manufacturing in accordance with relevant IS standards and is suitable for continuous duty operation.

HP : 0.16 HP TO 20 HP
RPM (Polarity) : 3000 (2Pole), 1500 (4 Pole), 1000 (6 Pole) & 750 (8 Pole)
Mounting : The motors are offered in standard foot mounting (B3), Flange mounting (B5) and Face mounting (B14) version. Non standard mountings and shaft extension can also be offered on request.
Voltage & Frequency : Motors are suitable for standard voltage (415 Volt +/- 10%) and frequency (50 Hz +/-5%). Motors for special voltage and frequency can be supplied on request.

An inline helical gearbox is a highly efficient speed reduction unit. The input and output shafts are aligned on the same axis, providing a compact and space saving design suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
